But i problem is the sql server is running 32 bit on my machine (14 core Xeon and 64 gb RAM) and consumes a lot cpu is very high (some times 100%) but ram 16 gb only It is also an issue for IIS 8.5. Please follow each step carefully to ensure that the SQL instance is properly created with all required settings.
- Browse to the Engagement CD Image and locate and run the setup for Microsoft® SQL Server® that's best for the machine.
- Open one of the folders listed below and run the SQLEXPR setup. (If running Microsoft® SQL Server® Standard or Enterprise run the Setup.exe. from the ISO)
- SqlExpress2014 directory. Right-click on SQLEXPR_x86_ENU.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
- SqlExpress2016 directory. Right-click on SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
- SqlExpress2017 directory. Right-click on SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
- SqlExpress2019 directory. Right-click on SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
- Open one of the folders listed below and run the SQLEXPR setup. (If running Microsoft® SQL Server® Standard or Enterprise run the Setup.exe. from the ISO)
- Select a location to extract the installation files.

- A few moments after the installation files are extracted, the SQL Server Installation Center window should appear automatically. If the SQL Server Installation Center window does not appear, browse to the extracted SQLEXPR_x86_ENU directory, and right-click Run as Administrator SETUP.EXE to begin the installation.
- In the Installation section, select New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add feature to an existing installation. The Setup Support Rules screen displays.
- If installing a Standard or Enterprise edition, the Product Key screen displays. Enter the SQL Server product key and click Next.
- The License Terms screen displays. Select I accept the license terms and click Next.
- The Global Rules and Product Updates are checked. Setup files are extracted. You may be prompted to install Product Updates. You may install updates now or wait to install Product Updates after the installation is complete. If the checks are complete, the install proceeds to the next step automatically.
- Install Rules are checked. If the installation passes the install rules, the Feature Select screen displays.
- On the Feature Selection screen, select Database Engine Services and Management Tools.
- Note: Management Tools are optional for Engagement; however, they can be used to assist Support in certain circumstances.
- Click Next to continue.
- On the Instance Configuration page, select Named Instance, enter PROFXENGAGEMENT, and then click Next.
- On the Server Configuration screen, Service Accounts tab, verify the SQL Server Database Engine and the SQL Server Browser services' Startup Type is set to Automatic.
- Choose 'System' as the logon account for the SQL Server Database Engine
- On the Collation tab, the default should be SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS and should not be changed.
- Click Next to continue.
- On the Database Engine Configuration screen, Server Configuration tab, leave the default Windows authentication mode. Mixed Mode is enabled during the Engagement or Workpaper Manager install.
- Add an Administrator user account in the Specify SQL Server administrators field, if an account does not exist.
- Click Next to continue.
- The Installation Progress screen displays while the installation continues.
- Note: Please be patient. The install process can take a long time to complete. The Installation Progress screen will provide a notification when the setup process has completed.
- The Complete screen displays. A link to the log file is found at the bottom of the screen.
- Click Close to finish the installation.
Once the installation is complete, configure the named PROFXENGAGEMENT instance.

- Launch the SQL Server Configuration Manager by selecting the Windows Start button > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2014 > Configuration Tools > SQL Server Configuration Manager.
- In the left frame of the screen, expand SQL Server Network Configuration. Select Protocols for PROFXENGAGEMENT.
- Make sure that TCP/IP is enabled. If it is disabled, right-click TCP/IP and select Enable. You will be prompted to restart the service before changes can take affect.
- In the left frame of the screen, select SQL Server Services. Right-click SQL Server (PROFXENGAGEMENT) and select Restart.
- Right-click SQL Server (PROFXENGAGEMENT) and select Properties.
- Change Log on as to Built-in account. Select Local System from the list. Click OK. You are prompted that this change will restart the service. Click OK to commit the change and restart the service.
